Craig: Rough Cut and extensions
Today, we produced a rough cut of our product, and despite this being five minutes long, we came to a unanimous decision that we were missing something, perhaps we need to take it out even further and play around further. We very quickly threw around some random ideas and eventually coming to the conclusion that we dramatise the editing process, which will allow us to throw in what shots and editing techniques we don’t have. We will have to film this relatively soon so we can give Becky time to edit. Leonie will start scripting this thoroughly, I'll check it, and then Martyn will be able to storyboard this once every detail has been applied. We have already begun considering cast and costume and what shots to be used where and so forth, hopefully all will go well.

Leonie - Script to Film
I am happy the way the short film is turning out whilst watching the editing process. It's really turning out to what I imagined the the script. The actors kept to the prompts I gave them, and used them remarkably. The beginning looks even better than what I imagined, the period drama piece. The overall idea for the period drama part was perfect and the costumes and scenery looks amazing. As for the improvisation, my idea was definitely brought across with the prompts but I also thinks it captures the beauty of what sponateous improvisation is.
Also, we are pondering on the idea of holding a film fesitival with the other groups in which everyone who wants to can attend. This would be a dream! Our film has a complex audience and I feel holding this fesitival will really test if we really captured the complexity and if people understand what is going on. So far, people we have shown really thought that the improvisation was real behind-the-scenes footage, so that is really superb!
Cannot wait to see how everything goes!

Uploaded footage and Pictures
With our footage uploaded, Craig, Martyn and I sat down and watched all our footage together, Becky being absent from Sixth Form together. I was rather impressed by it! I was a bit apprehensive about it after worrying that it wouldn't look good on the big screen but edited together with the titles and music will make it perfect! Our editing will not take long and I cannot wait for the final piece, eager I know! The rapport between the actors was brilliant and we did a great job considering the weather and the amount of practise we had. Editing will commence during our given time, and I am certain Becky will do a fantastic job!
Below are a few of the pictures taken from the filming location as I forwarded them to Martyn would will be constructing a digital storyboard from them:

Becky: Uploaded and ready for editing.
Today, Craig (director) and I uploaded the raw footage onto the computer. As soon as it finished uploading we went through each take, we were both pleased with the footage.
We were surprised and pleased with how well the camera picked up noise, especially the conversations throughout our film.
After the raw footage has been edited, I am confident that the end product will be spectacular.
